What if I failed to repair the videos?

If the video cannot be successfully previewed after being repaired, you maybe fail in saving the videos. It is recommended that you try to repair the video again, or try the "Advanced Repair Mode". The "Advanced Repair Mode" is able to fix the damaged videos in deeper degree.

If your video is successfully previewed, you can change the save path and try again.

Sometimes, the inferred information is inaccurate due to the current structure information. For example, the missing AVI format is used to infer the missing MOVI from the existing information. But because the data is not enough to calculate the offset of the audio and video data, the audio and video data movement is incorrect.

The detection code detects that the repaired AVI file structure is complete (data offset cannot be detected) and returns to the repair success. Repaired video files cannot be played due to incorrect audio and video data offsets.

A sample file is a good playable file created with the same device and the same format as the corrupted video. Advanced Repair uses the information from the sample file and repairs the corrupt video.

You can upload your good sample video to help repair your corrupted video.

Step 1. Please make sure the sample video file you added is a valid file created with the same device and the same format as the corrupted video.

Step 2.You can try to repair the corrupted videos again with a different sample video.

Step 3. If your damaged video is recovered by data recovery software, we recommend that you try the Recovery Video Recovery feature of Recoverit. It can perform a complete scan to the device contains data need to recover.

Step 4. If these methods did not solve your problem, please contact the Support Team.

If your videos are seriously damaged and repair failed with Quick Video Repair feature, please try the option of Advance Repair. Please add a sample video to repair.

If the video you want to repair cannot be added to our program, it may be that our program does not support this type of file temporarily.
Here are the video types supported to repair. MOV, MP4, M4V, M2TS, MKV, MTS, 3GP, AVI, FLV.INSV,MXF.

If your photos are seriously damaged and repair failed with Quick Photo Repair feature, please try the option of Advance Repair. Please add a sample photo to repair.

Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the reason that causes this issue:

For your reference, the repair progress can be completed in around 30 mintues to 1 hours for a 10GB video file in general conditions. If your Repairing time is in this time range, please wait patiently and do not stop the repair in the middle of the process.

For some reasons, after a long time, the repair process doesn't go on. Please through the "Problem Report" popup, or click "Menu-Feedback" to contact our support team.

The video data is covered or lost. In the condition, the video will still get blurred after repair.

If your video didn't recover successfully, please try to recover your videos by using the feature of Advanced Video Recovery feature.

It can perform a complete scan to the device contains data need to recover. Video files are different from any other type of data. Sometimes, you might find the video corruption after the preview using software. If so, you can try to use Advance Video Recovery. It scans, gathers and matches the fragments of your corrupt videos.

During the scanning process, you can view a feature for “Advanced Video Recovery” listed at the bottom-left panel of the interface. You can just click on it to load the feature

Video display is depended on the structure information in the vidoes, especially the video flow and audio flow information. If the video data of a certain fragment is covered or lost, the fragment will stay blurred or spotted after being repaired. To other word, if the video data is covered or lost, it will lead to repair failure. Similarly, if the audio data is lost, the video will keep silent after repaired.
