First check whether the exported JPEG is still sharp before you upload it. If it looks good in a normal photo viewer on the computer and on the phone but looks soft only after it appears on Instagram, the quality change begins after the Lightroom edit rather than in the original photo.

Verify the JPEG Before the Upload Step
